Lolly is a London-based Director & DOP. 

She has ample experience in working brands, influencers and other creatives to produce authentic, relatable and engaging content. 

She also expands herself creatively by working on various camera teams as an a camera assistant (2nd AC) for commercial & film productions. Most recently she worked on ÓWÀMBÉ (developed and created as part fo the Netflix Documentary Talent Fund).

 

​2019 she stepped into music video directing and appearing on the NTA & BAFTA-nominated BBC hit show, The Rap Game UK.

​2020 she became a BFI award-winning DOP for one of her projects, Motherland, after being officially selected at three BAFTA-Qualifying film festivals: Underwire, London Short Film Festival (LSFF) & BFI Future Film & secured 'Best New Talent' at the BFI Future Film.

 

Since this success, she has been exploring the world of filmmaking and has a number of projects in the pipeline, including the creation of her first short film which is currently in post-production (April 2022).

 

​Lolly continually aims to challenge status quo by being a black female navigating within the film production industry. Being a strong advocate for women of colour who work in the industry, she built a platform to empower the community called #WomenCreateToo.

It launched in March 2020, and fast-forward a few months later was supported by Superdrug, after she won the 2020 'Faces of the Future' competition.
